About Quantec
Quantec Ltd is a New Zealand-based biotech company developing and commercialising proprietary science backed branded health ingredients. Their flagship product, IDP®, is clinically validated and already sold in international markets. With a strong pipeline of new ingredients under development and increased clinical validation, Quantec is entering an exciting phase of growth and expansion.
About the role
As Sales and Market Development Manager, you will take a key role in shaping Quantec’s global sales and marketing strategy. This is a hands-on role where you will be driving growth, opening doors to new markets, and helping share their story with the world. We are looking for someone who will add value by coming up with fresh ideas, building strong connections, looking to progress and making a real impact.
In this role, you will:
Identify and open new export markets for IDP® and future product launches through development of structured go-to-market strategies
Establish and manage distributor and partner networks
Develop and execute brand and marketing communication strategies, with a strong focus on digital and social media
Represent Quantec at global trade shows and industry events
Lead B2B sales discussions with ingredient buyers and brand owners
Deliver compelling commercial and science based presentations and training sessions confidently, engaging audiences of all sizes
Translate science into clear, commercially powerful messaging
Be flexible and team-orientated, contributing across projects in a small innovative team environment.
Skills and experience:
We are looking for someone that who will not only deliver on the key responsibilities of the role but also add value with their creativity, and ready to step up into a leadership position as they grow with the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
proven experience in B2B sales and marketing experience in health/nutrition/dairy ingredients
A record of successful market entry and export sales growth
Experience working with distributors in export markets
Strong brand development and digital marketing skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in public speaking and media
A genuine interest in science, health, and nutrition
A collaborative, proactive mindset with the ability to work in an agile environment (e.g. supply chain)
