About The Role
As National Sales Manager, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving national strategy while staying hands-on in market. You will:
Lead and execute Sprig + Fern’s national sales strategy across grocery, on- and off-premise, and emerging channels.
Identify, qualify, and convert opportunities for growth with a strong commercial lens, keeping a close eye on trends and performance.
Lead, coach, and empower a small, dedicated, passionate sales team across the country.
Personally manage key grocery and regional accounts, deepening partnerships and negotiating mutually beneficial contracts.
Use data, forecasting, and reporting to shape strategy, make decisions, and maintain commercial visibility in line with business goals.
Champion Sprig + Fern’s brand story, values, and product experience wherever you go.
This role is based at the Richmond brewery, with regular domestic travel required to support customers, team members, and category partners.
About You
You’ll bring the experience and confidence to lead growth in a competitive FMCG environment. We’re looking for:
5+ years in a senior sales role, ideally within FMCG, beverages, or aligned categories.
Strong commercial and financial nous - budgeting, forecasting, P&L, and category insight capability.
Proven negotiation skills with major retail and grocery buyers.
A collaborative, empowering leadership style with experience developing small, dedicated teams into inspired high-performers.
Proficiency across Microsoft 365, especially Excel for reporting and planning.
A genuine passion for people, products, and delivering excellent customer experiences.
