About the organisation
With over 50 centres across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty, Central Kids Kindergartens has been providing high-quality, affordable early childhood education since 1951. Their team of highly qualified, experienced Kaiako (teachers) are truly invested in the future of tamariki, as well as the wellbeing of the whole whānau.
About the role
We are looking for a passionate HR professional to support key stakeholders through the delivery of timely, reliable HR advice. The organisation is on a journey of transformational change, developing initiatives to engage and uplift their Kaiako to bring their best to work. Duties and responsibilities will include.
- Providing high quality, pragmatic advice on people related matters
- Supporting managers through coaching, change and performance management
- Recruitment, onboarding and retention activities
- Advising on career development pathways or individual training needs
- Maintaining employee records and providing administrative support to HR related activities
- Updating policies in line with legislation and effectively communicating changes across all levels of the organisation
- Staff engagement and culture enhancement

Our ideal candidate will have
- 3-5 Years of experience in an HR advisory or generalist role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Based from the Hamilton office, you will be required to travel to Tokoroa and Rotorua on a regular basis.
